Welcome in the world of the GRÜNSPORT machines
The Grünsport company was found in 1989 and focused, from the very beginning, on the production of fitness machines for top body-builders. During its existence, Grünsport equipped about 450 public fitness centres all throughout Europe, in such countries as e.g. Germany, Turkey, Yemen etc.
The Grünsport fitness machines are used by the great variety of our sportsmen including body-builders, athletes, football and hockey players.
In 1994, Grünsport introduced itself at the biggest European fitness and body-building fair FIBO in Essen, Germany, and since that time, the company has been introducing its currently new products at that exhibition every year. At the same time, Grünsport participates in other sports fairs such as e.g. the International Fair of Sports Articles '94 that took place in Prague, and where our company received the SPORTING GOODS MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC certificate granted by the Czech Ministry of Industry. Then, at the Sport Prague Faire that is held twice in a year (spring, autumn), Grünsport received two times the 1st prize in 1995, and then once again in spring 1997, it was awarded the 1st prize in the "sports ground and fitness centre equipment" category.
On 1st January 1993, we launched production in a new factory building which is constructed particularly for the production of fitness machines. The quality of used materials and the production technology assure high quality of products and a failure-free operation at zero maintenance. The growing demands predominantly on the part of our foreign clients were the incentive to modernize the present building and to construct a new assembly hall that came into operation in 2001.
Our potential to fulfil wide variety orders is a commonplace standard. Grünsport is able to deliver, at customer's request, machines in almost any colour combination, which concerns both the surface treatment and the covering material.
The company's offer includes consulting, warranty and after-warranty services. At customer's request, we are able to provide transportation and assembly of machines at a given destination.
The latest world trend abandons the classical heavy body-building and becomes more fitness, wellness and physiotherapy oriented. The whole sport philosophy is changing; its goal is not the (often unrealistic) body perfection any more but it is directed towards an overall balance as well as the bodily and mental wellbeing.
In 1999, Grünsport developed, in cooperation with the Swiss therapists, fitness machines of a new model line named REHALINE that were introduced at the FIBO '99 fair in Essen, Germany. All machines of that line distinguish themselves with a robust but elegant design, fine precision weight-grading and ergonomical exercise-positioning, they respect the shape of lordosis and have comfortable starting positions even for elder persons.
Since 2004, Grünsport has been producing fitness machines of a new model line named COMPACT that is characteristic mainly of the new protected design of a carrying section which provides better attributes with regard to ergonomics and safety while it preserves the famous robustness of construction.
The very same year, the company started to produce single-arm dumbbells and disc loads which are newly supplemented with an attested safety rubber coat and rubber handles.
The disc loads are of a totally new design and are, in addition, equipped with handles for better manipulation.
In 2006, Grünsport introduced a new line named DELUXE that is characteristic in particular of a more comfortable machine operation and the unique accessible system of loads. New technologies and biomechanics are used. It represents new exercise angles and a symmetry of movement.
Grünsport currently employs about 25 permanent employees and utilizes services of several supplying firms. Except for a few cases, the company uses materials of a domestic origin for production.
